Value of the Month
This month, we are focusing on the value of Thankfulness. In the rush of lessons and play, it is important to pause and appreciate the people, opportunities, and small moments that make our school a special place to grow.
Being thankful isn’t just about manners; it’s about a positive mindset. When we notice the good around us, we feel happier and help those around us feel valued too.
Our Heart of Thanks
It isn’t just for sunny days,
Or when we win the game.
It’s finding joy in little things,
And learning every name.
It’s saying "Thank You" for our lunch,
And for the friends we meet.
For every hand that helps us up,
And keeps us on our feet.
From the tall trees in the playground,
To the books upon the shelf,
Being thankful means we share our light,
And give a bit of self.
So let’s look around our busy school,
At all the good we see,
And carry thanks within our hearts,
As happy as can be!
