  • Health Advice

    Mon 14 Mar 2022

Unfortunately we have had a few cases of illness in the Nursery and one of our children was admitted to hospital last week with a Streptococcal infection. Thankfully the child is better now but the doctors have advised that the infection could be related to chicken pox or Scarlet Fever. https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/scarlet-fever/

Please see the advice attached related to chicken pox and be extra careful if your child develops any symptoms of illness. I would advise that you get your child checked by a doctor as soon as possible should they become ill as young children’s health can deteriorate very quickly.

In school we shall carry out extra cleaning and sterilising to ensure that any possibility of transfer of bacteria or virus is kept to a minimum.

I would ask that parents and carers do not send their child to school if they have any symptoms of illness.

Thank you for your co-operation with this matter.

    Yours sincerely,

    Jill Henderson

    March - thankfulness
