  • Reading Workshops

    We will be holding Reading Workshops for parents/carers of children in EYFS and KS1.

     

    EYFS - 4th October at 2.00pm and repeated at 5.00pm.

     

    KS1 - 3rd October at 2.00pm and repeated at 5.00pm.

  • Whole School Photo - reminder

    The school photographer will be attending school on Monday morning to take our whole school photograph.  Please ensure your child is smartly dressed in their school uniform for this exciting event.  As the staging has to be erected in the playground if the weather is bad the photograph will have to be postponed.

  • Year 4 Pedestrian Training

    Today, the year 4 pupils took part in pedestrian training.  Learning how to keep themselves safe while they are out and about is extremely important.  Part of the training included how to safely cross a road and the importance of being aware of their surroundings.

  • Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's State Funeral

    Dear Parents/carers

    As you are aware, Monday 19 September, the date of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s State Funeral, will be a national bank holiday and therefore school will be closed on this day.

    The Council held both the proclamation of the new King and a vigil for Queen Elizabeth over the weekend and there are further vigils planned this week. The details on those vigils are;

    ·         Wednesday 14th September – vigil at Goodmayes Library at 76 Goodmayes Lane IG3 9QB, starting at 6pm

    ·         Friday 16th September – vigil at Redbridge Town Hall in Ilford, starting at 6pm

    The Books of Condolence are open at the six different sites around the borough. The opening times vary as it links to the different opening times of each of the buildings. You can get details on the Book of Condolence and Flower Tribute arrangements on the Council website at https://www.redbridge.gov.uk/hm-queen-elizabeth/condolence-and-tributes/. Additionally, there is a national online Book of Condolence, hosted by Buckingham Palace and you can find that at https://www.royal.uk
